The Radar key fits most disabled toilets throughout the UK under the National Key Scheme (NKS).  Many places such as shopping centres, railway and bus stations, airports and even some parks and footpaths have toilets fitted with RADAR locks .  The RADAR Key Scheme allows people with disabilities access to these toilets without having to find someone to open it for you – especially useful to those who may need to act fast when the urge comes on.  This scheme allows disabled toilets to be locked to reduce the chances of toilets being abused while still allowing quick access!   The keys have a large, easy grip to make turning easier.
